Well Child VisitsClose
Well Child Visits
The staff at the LCH Pediatric Center conduct regular wellness visits for children from newborns to adolescents to monitor their wellbeing and development and set them up with healthy lifestyle habits.
Our team can help children of all ages with physical exams and/or immunizations for all types of needs, including: school, daycare, extracurricular activities, drivers licenses, work, and pre-college physicals. We know that you and are family are busy, but don’t wait until the last minute to schedule these visits!
Childhood Immunizations and TB ScreeningsClose
Childhood Immunizations and TB Screenings
Vaccinations are such an important part of prevention. We follow immunization guidelines based on the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Illness and Injury CareClose
Illness and Injury Care
Whether it is a fever or a fall, the pediatric care team is available to help you and your child through health issues and concerns.
The pediatric team follows screening guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). We connect families with other local resources to help all children grow to their fullest potential.
Vision and Hearing ScreeningsClose
Vision and Hearing Screenings
Vision and hearing screenings are performed during well child visits per the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). We have state of the art equipment to accomplish these screenings efficiently and accurately, and we refer to specialists and other community resources as needed.
Treatment of Chronic ConditionsClose
Treatment of Chronic Conditions
We help you and your child manage all chronic care conditions including but not limited to: asthma, allergies, ADHD, nutritional concerns, and weight management. We work together with local community resources as well as pediatric specialists to make sure that your child and your family can access all needed support.
At LCH, we follow the Bright Futures guidelines, which reflect the core beliefs that every child deserves to be healthy, prevention works, families matter, and health is everyone’s business. Our pediatric providers have a passion for creating a supportive environment for children to grow up happy and healthy.
In addition to primary, preventative, and acute care services for children, The LCH Dental Center is just upstairs from our pediatric office in West Grove. Learning good oral hygiene at a young age is an important part of your overall health. We routinely recommend to begin visits after 12 months of age or after the first tooth erupts. Our dental team ensures that kids can receive continuing dental care as they grow. We offer a free dental fluoride varnish from six months (or the first tooth eruption) to five years during primary development.
Mental health is a part of your overall health at every age. Our Behavioral Health Team can help even our youngest patients with mental health concerns and illnesses such as depression and anxiety. The expansion of our pediatric services allows for all members of a family to receive health care at LCH.
