The LCH Community Health Center in Oxford, PA

We are dedicated to helping adults, teens, and children to be and stay healthy.

Our team of primary care providers, chronic care specialists, nurses, behavioral health consultants, case workers, medical assistants, and interpreters work as a team to provided integrated, Person-Centered Care to the greater Oxford community in southern Chester County.

Insurance or no insurance, LCH will take care of you. We evaluate everyone to determine eligibility for discounted services. Our sliding scale fees are based on your income and family size. We don’t turn anyone away due to inability to pay.

LCH Health and Community Services Oxford is located in the Eckman Building across the street from Sacred Heart Church and between Wells Fargo and the Redner's Shopping Center.

    Annual check-ups play an important role in your health. LCH will help you build an ongoing relationship with your primary care provider here in Oxford, so that we can quickly understand and easily address changes to your health. Our doctors and medical specialists see all ages, but for infants, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with our pediatric office in West Grove.

    LCH Oxford follows guidelines from the Center for Disease Control for vaccinations. They are an essential part of good health—for you, for your family, and for the community as a whole. Talk with your provider about the next vaccine you need, such as your annual flu shot, or the next series of immunizations that your child needs as he or she continues to grow. Don’t have insurance or worried that your insurance won’t cover it? LCH provides vaccinations for patients without insurance or those with minimal coverage on a sliding fee scale based on income level and family size.

    Your body is constantly developing throughout your lifetime, but do not put off seeing a doctor when it comes to changes like shortness of breath or chest pain. We can help screen, diagnose, and provide treatment for successful management of diseases like high blood pressure and diabetes. If addressed early, we may even be able to help prevent the onset of the disease.

    The doctors and medical specialists on LCH Oxford's primary care medical team can help with injuries and wound care that might be too serious to cure at home. If you are in a life-threatening situation, dial 911. But if you have a situation that does not require an emergency room visit, we can help.

    Our dedicated team of behavioral health consultants work with our Oxford primary care providers to support your mental health and wellness. We have three levels of care: integrated behavioral health, outpatient therapy, and medication management. Our psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and behavioral health counselors are dedicated to supporting you through important behavior modification and lifestyle changes. Are you feeling depressed or anxious? Are you worried about the mental health of a friend of a family member? The LCH behavioral health team is here for you.

    Sexually Transmitted Diseases are a considerable risk for those who are sexually active. Our Oxford location provides STD testing, discusses results and care, as well as prevention methods for men and women. Interested in family planning and/or contraception? We can connect you to our Women’s Health Center in West Grove to talk through your options for birth control, or how to best get started with preparing for pregnancy.

We emphasize preventive care, and educate our patients on how life experiences and influences at work and at home can affect overall health.

Through our integrated electronic health record system, LCH Centricity, service providers can understand social and environmental influences firsthand on each patient. The LCH team has a full understanding of a patient’s situation, and works together to help move the patients forward to the next level of health, independence, and confidence.

It takes lifestyle change to manage a chronic disease, and the whole family needs to understand how to support healthy choices for the health of the patient.

Care managers, health educators and social services staff work together to ensure the patient is making healthy lifestyle changes to manage their chronic diseases. LCH continues to bring awareness and resources to the community through outreach and programs.

The doctors and medical staff at LCH Oxford are dedicated to providing care for the whole community, regardless of insurance status or income level. We accept most private insurances, Medicaid, and Medicare, as well as patients without insurance. Our sliding fee scale is based on income level and family size, so health services are accessible, affordable, and fair for everyone. Regardless of insurance, we screen every patient to see if they qualify for our reduced fee services.

    When did you join the LCH team?

    I joined the team in August 2019.

    Where did you go to school for your medical training?

    I attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA  for my Bachelor of Science degree and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine for my medical school education.

    What type of medicine is your specialty?

    Family Medicine,  but I am also certified in Functional Medicine, a form of integrative medicine that seeks to get to the root cause of complex chronic disease.

    Why do you like working at LCH?

    I like LCH because every on is so positive and pleasant. There is a very unique culture in our staff the is infectious (in a good way).  The patients are also super pleasant and appreciative of the care we provide.

    What is your most important health tip for patients?

    The most important tool that you have is your fork!  We truly are what we eat and we get to make choices many times a day about what we put in to our bodies. Food is sharing, love, culture, energy and information for our bodies. Learn very carefully how to eat for good health and a good life.
