  • BILINGUAL DENTAL ASSISTANT

    BILINGUAL DENTAL ASSISTANT

    The primary function of the Dental Assistant is to assist the Dentist and Dental Hygienist to provide oral care. The Dental Assistant collects health information, captures and records X-Rays, prepares instrument trays, assists with procedures as required, records medical and other data in the Electronic Health Record, maintains PPE and sterilizes operatories and instruments routinely. Dental Assistants are responsible for patient care and patient flow as well as health center duties including reception and check-out, maintaining inventory, stocking medical and other supplies, performing quality assurance and keeping the office and reception area clean and orderly.

  • BILINGUAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT

    BILINGUAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT

    The primary function of the Medical Assistant is to assist the clinician in the provision of healthcare services to the client and to act as an advocate for the client.  The Medical Assistant collects health information, performs phlebotomy and vital signs, assists with procedures as required, and records medical data in the electronic health record.  Medical Assistants as a team are responsible for patient flow, and health center duties including stocking rooms, maintaining inventory, medical supplies and medical equipment, and performing quality assurance.

  • BILINGUAL MEMBER RELATIONS SPECIALIST

    BILINGUAL MEMBER RELATIONS SPECIALIST

    The MRS provides vital customer service via telephone and in person. This position is responsible for answering calls on LCH’s main line, routing calls to appropriate staff, making appointments for the health center and providing basic information. When functioning in the role of front office reception, the MRS directs members to the proper service, performs client intake and assessment, provides check-out services, collects and records fees, and provides client services (appointments and inquiries).

  • BILINGUAL REGISTERED NURSE

    BILINGUAL REGISTERED NURSE

    The primary function of the Pediatric Registered Nurse is to provide both acute and preventative services to patients newborn through eighteen years of age following the American Academy of Pediatrics Bright Futures schedule, perform triage (phone and in-person), provide routine anticipatory guidance and vaccines,  and assist in the care of chronic and primary care patients. The nurse will also perform mental health screenings, identify and support the Behavioral Health team in patient care.

  • PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER (Part-Time)

    PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER (Part-Time)

    The part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will address the behavioral health needs of clients by conducting psychiatric evaluation, prescribing and managing psychotropic medications.  The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will coordinate with other behavior health and primary medical providers and support care management within the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) integrated model.  The candidate will be certified (waivered) in the treatment of drug addiction and will assess and assist with staff development related to behavioral health and addiction treatment.  The primary function of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is to diagnose, prescribe medication, monitors medications side effects and participates in the treatment process.

    SOCIAL WORKER

    The Social Worker at LCH provides counseling and intervention services to help clients reach their full human potential. Duties include assisting clients to remove barriers to health and wellness. The Social Worker will collaborate with members of the health care team, the community service team, and the client/family to assure clients’ psycho-social needs are addressed.

    The Staff Accountant is responsible for the accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of the day–to–day accounting activities at LCH including month end closing journal entries and duties, balance sheet reconciliations, contract and grant recording and reconciliations, TRNA maintenance and reconciliations, HRSA recording and reconciliations, G/L maintenance, fixed asset maintenance, monthly medical revenue posting to GL & analysis, bi-weekly payroll punch transfers and payroll analysis.

  • SYSTEMS APPLICATION SPECIALIST

    SYSTEMS APPLICATION SPECIALIST

    The primary responsibility of the Systems Application Specialist is to provide technical support, customization and ongoing management of LCH’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) and all applications that interface with the EHR. The Systems Application Specialist works collaboratively with the IT Support Specialist, Management and staff by exhibiting strong coordination, communication, cooperation, and overall support.

  • WOMEN'S HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER

    WOMEN'S HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER

    The primary function of the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) is to assure the provision of quality prenatal care and women’s health care to Chester County families.  Services of the WHNP at LCH include the following:  prenatal care, women’s health, and family planning services. WHNP may also participate in advocacy, case management and facilitation services as needed and will advocate for the role of the advance practice nurse and the nursing center as a model of primary health care for vulnerable communities.

    This position is eligible for the National Health Services Corp (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. The program provides loan repayment in exchange for employment in critical shortage areas, such as LCH. More information is available at: https://nhsc.hrsa.gov/loanrepayment/loanrepaymentprogram.
