What is your most important health tip for patients?

Based on my experience in healthcare there are way too many people that wait until they are in pain to visit a healthcare provider. Do not wait until you are experiencing pain to go to the doctor or dentist. I cannot stress how important it is to get your health checked regularly.  Get your annual physicals and get your teeth cleaned as often as your dentist or hygienist recommends. Be proactive not reactive.
