  • MEDICAL ASSISTANT

    MEDICAL ASSISTANT

    The primary function of the Medical Assistant is to assist the clinician in the provision of healthcare services to the client and to act as an advocate for the client.  The Medical Assistant collects health information, performs phlebotomy and vital signs, assists with procedures as required, and records medical data in the electronic health record.  Medical Assistants as a team are responsible for patient flow, and health center duties including stocking rooms, maintaining inventory, medical supplies and medical equipment, and performing quality assurance.

    MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST

    The Mental Health Therapist will provide psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and children using individual, group, couple, and family modalities. LCH provides counseling and intervention services to help clients reach their full human potential. The Mental Health Therapist will collaborate with members of the health care team, the community service team, and the client/family to remove barriers to health and wellness.

    PSYCHIATRIST (Part-Time)

    The part-time Psychiatrist will address the behavioral health needs of clients by conducting psychiatric evaluation of clients, prescribing, and managing psychotropic medications.  The Psychiatrist will coordinate with other behavioral health and primary medical providers and support care management within the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) integrated model. The candidate will be certified (waivered) in the treatment of drug addiction and will assess and assist with staff development related to behavioral health and addiction treatment.  The primary function of the Psychiatrist is to diagnose, prescribe medication, monitors medications side effects and participates in the treatment process.

    and health maintenance to patients across the lifespan. The physician is a member of the practice care team, which includes nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, registered nurses, behavioral health consultants and medical assistants.  In that capacity they are expected to be familiar with the mission, goals and objectives of LCH and work collaboratively to achieve them. They must be cognizant of, and comply with, all LCH policies and procedures, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations.

  • SYSTEMS APPLICATION SPECIALIST

    SYSTEMS APPLICATION SPECIALIST

    The primary responsibility of the Systems Application Specialist is to provide technical support, customization and ongoing management of two primary software applications: 1) LCH’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) and the applications that interface with the EHR and 2) An advanced case management package. The Systems Application Specialist works collaboratively with the IT Support Specialist, Management and staff by exhibiting strong coordination, communication, cooperation, and overall support.
