Underage Drinking and Hosting:
Laws and Consequences
Guest Speaker: Laura Obenski, Chester County AVOID

Laura will share information about the underage drinking laws and consequences in Pennsylvania, as well as the laws and sanctions regarding furnishing alcohol to minors. A brief overview on the risk factors for underage drinking and statistics will also be included.

Power of Parents
Guest Speaker: Kate Genthert, Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems

Power of Parents is a researched-based program developed by MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). The objectives of the program are to talk about the problem of teen drinking, the role of peers and adults in the problem of teen drinking, and the role of parents and preventing teen drinking.
