    The primary function of the Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner is to assure the provision of quality primary care services to Chester County families.  Services of the Family Nurse Practitioner at LCH include the following: physical examinations and immunizations, chronic disease management, acute episodic care for infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric clients.

    The Dentist will provide clinical supervision to two Dental Assistants and a Dental Hygienist while providing general oral healthcare and preventive care to the underserved of all ages as well as the general population. We are an FQHC that serves uninsured individuals, as well as people who are insured with Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance. Our dental facility consists of 3-operatories located in a Class-A medical office building and is supported by LCH’s primary location 2 miles away, consisting of medical offices, behavioral healthcare, social services and administration.

    The primary function of the Medical Assistant is to assist the clinician in the provision of primary healthcare services to the client and to act as an advocate for the client.  The Medical Assistant collects health information, performs phlebotomy and vital signs, assists with procedures as required, and records medical data in the electronic health record.  Medical Assistants as a team are responsible for patient flow, and health center duties including stocking rooms, maintaining inventory, medical supplies and medical equipment, and performing quality assurance.

    The primary functions of the MRS II are to oversee all operational aspects of the front office of LCH Oxford site. This includes but not limited to provide vital customer service via telephone and in person, responsible for answering calls, routing calls to appropriate staff, making appointments for the health center and providing basic information. When functioning in the role of front office reception, the MRS II directs members to the proper service, performs client intake and assessment, provides check-out services, collects and records fees, and provides client services (appointments and inquiries).
